3 Instagram Marketing Strategies

instagram marketing/popularizers

Instagram can be a bit of a mystery for business owners. As a commenter on one of my recent articles wrote, This article will walk you through my top 3 tips for using Instagram to do just that. Don’t forget to leave your best tips in the comment section below! If you’re not a celebrity, it’s very hard to be famous on Instagram”. While this may be true, I’m betting you’re not looking to get famous; rather, you want to build a solid presence on the platform in order to engage and connect with your target market.

1. Hashtags need to be Part:

Apart from your image, your hashtags are the most important element of your post. While captions help you tell the story behind your image, hashtags allow you to get your image seen by those outside your current sphere of followers. When users search for relevant industry related hashtags, you want your posts to show up. If not, there’s a good chance your competitors’ posts will……..increasing their influence and helping them grow their followers.

There are three Main Startegy

  1. Use Popular Hastags like (e.g., #love, #tbt, etc.)
  2. Use less popular hashtags yet highly-relevant hashtags.
  3. Use hashtags commonly thought to attract new followers. (#followme, #follow4follow)
2. Be part of the Instagram community

There are many ways to build and/or be part of a community on Instagram. Using hashtags (see #1 above) allows you to connect with users you may never otherwise have met. Liking and commenting on other people’s photos gets you engaged with the greater community (and often helps you grow your own followers as people reciprocate). Participating in Instagram campaigns intended to further a worthy cause can help you contribute to a greater good (#movember is a great example of a cause perfectly suited for a visual-centric platform like Instagram). Sharing images and videos from events can help your followers feel like they’re in on the action, and are a real part of your community.

3.  Use Instagram ads to extend the reach of your posts

Instagram now allows all businesses to advertise on the platform. Up until a few months ago, only big brands could access this feature. Keep in mind that you currently need a Facebook account to create an Instagram ads can only be created in Facebook ad creation or Power Editor. Test out ads for your own business to extend the reach of your organic posts.

1. Know Your Audience

You want your tweets to hit home with the right people, so you’d better know what those people like.

  • Find out what your customers really think
  • Find new campaign ideas
  • Get customers’ views of your competitors
  • Re-evaluate your brand’s strengths and weaknesses
  • Supplement hard data with genuine opinions

Target specific keywords and hastags that suit ideal buyer

2. Talk with your followers, not at them

Think of voice as your brand’s personality and tone as your brand’s mood from day to day. Here some suggestion to help your balance promotion:

  • The rule of 80/20:- 20% content be promotional, but 80% should be interesting.
  • The 5-3-2 ration 5 relevents pieces from others, 3 non-promotional from you, and 2 promotional posts.
  • The 4-1-1:- 4 pieces from others+one retweet for every promotional tweet you send.

focus on offering value to your followers.

3. Use Relevant Hashtags

Hashtags are Twitter’s way of bundling information together by keyword. People following hastags are interested in that content. If your content suits one, you’ll reach an audience that’s keen to engage with it.

Some of key tips are:

twiitter/popularizers

Use it Re-tweets followers

6. Realize less isn’t more

Twitter is a “micro-blogging” site. It would make sense that Twitter content should be shorter than posts on other social networks. Not exactly.

Buffer and sum all teamed up to make this monster infographics showing the optimal length for posts on various social networks.

7. Use Images

Buffer found that pictures triple the rate tweets and nearly double the rate of likes. And because images take up Twitter real estate, your message becomes more prominent with a picture.

But what if you don’t have good, original images to share?

Create “Quote pictures”

One Twitter study found that pictures lead to 40% more retweets, and that quotes increase retweets by 18%. I’m no math magician, but 40% + 18% = billions!

Or maybe it doesn’t work like that.

8. Be Personal

When appropriate, name the person tweeting. It gives a more personal feel to your tweets.

E-Commerce Marketing

Almost 55% of Americans plan to shop mostly online in 2012, according to the “2012 Shopping Outlook” survey by Price-Grabber. Another 60% plan to make most of their purchases through a combination of online, brick and mortar, and mobile shopping, while just 12% plan to only shop in actual stores. also known as online shopping, is becoming more widespread as more consumers look to the Internet for purchasing decisions. Consumers can find a biggest variety of goods, often at more competitive prices, than they would at their local brick and mortar retailers. According to Understanding Online Shopper Behaviors by Forester Research.

Skip Promotional Tab in gmail – Send your mail directly to inbox

It’s simple really. The easiest way to guarantee delivery to Gmail’s Primary Inbox, and not the Promotions tab, is to send your email campaigns from Gmail’s own servers. GMass does just that, by turning your regular Gmail or Google Apps account into a powerful email marketing platform. Prepare to impress your boss with the highest open rates you’ve ever achieved.

You Can Add this extension by clicking on this link : ADD NOW

FEATURES

  • Use Gmail to send mail merge campaigns with automatic follow-up emails.
  • Connect to Google Sheets.
  • Personalize. Schedule. Track opens and clicks.
  • Create email lists based on search results.
  • Send emails as replies to the last thread with each person.
  • The killer feature: set automatic follow-up emails to be sent sequentially until you get a reply.

Mail merge with Google Sheets

Mass email based on search results

Use Gmail’s powerful search feature to find messages containing recipients to whom you want to email. Then click the Build Email List button, and a Compose window will load containing the email addresses found in those messages.

Have emails sent as replies

Choose to either have emails sent as new messages or as replies to the last conversation you had with each recipient. The latter will create the impression that you manually replied and typed a message to that recipient individually, which should increase your response rate.

Google Sheets integration with GMASS

After two weeks of development effort, GMass’s Google Sheets integration is complete. You can now send a mass email/mail merge campaign easily to contacts in a Google Sheets spreadsheet.

To get the feature, just do a hard re-load of Gmail in your Chrome browser.

You’ll notice a new Google Sheets icon next to the “Build Email List” button. Please note that we re-named “Compose from Search” to “Build Email List”.

Click the Sheets icon, and after you’ve authorized GMass to access your Google Sheets spreadsheets, a window will popup showing your spreadsheets, and allowing you to choose one.

You do not need to specify which column contains the email addresses, because GMass will auto-detect that and read the other columns in the spreadsheet to allow you to personalize your mass email with any of those fields.

Your spreadsheet needs to be formatted properly for GMass to read from it. The first row should contain column names, like FirstName, LastName, EmailAddress, Company, LastPurchase, and others. The actual data should start on the second row.

If your spreadsheet has multiple worksheets, then a Worksheets dropdown will also appear, allowing you to select the specific worksheet from which you’d like GMass to read. If your spreadsheet only has one worksheet, then this dropdown will not appear.

After clicking the Connect button, GMass will read the email addresses and other data from your spreadsheet and load the email addresses into the To field of a new Compose window.

Clicking on the settings arrow will reveal the personalization buttons, one for each column in the spreadsheet. Click these buttons to insert the personalization fields into the Subject and Body of your email message.

Why Your Needs Social Media Marketing

Did you know that social media marketing has a 100% higher lead-to-close to rate than outbound marketing? Or that 84% B2B Marketers use Social Media.

The Importance of Social Media for Web Traffic.

1. Social media posts can be used to drive targeted traffic:- Creating a new page on your site is like taking a really great selfie.  We’ve seen a single link on Reddit drive over 20,000 visitors in one weekend and links submitted to StumbleUpon can take a page that was consistently earning a handful of visitors a day and increase that number to hundreds. Who wouldn’t want to capitalize on that?

2. Using social media for business boosts your site’s SEO:-A killer content strategy for SEO is the most important part of earning top spots in search engine rankings. Search engine crawlers know which pages are consistently earning traffic and which are just floating out there, forgotten and ignored. A solid and consistent presence on Facebook, Twitter and other social channels was a BIG part of that success.

Social Media is THE BEST Tool to Connect with Consumers & Industry Leaders.

3. If you’re doing it right, social media will lead to real relationship building:-Part of what makes things like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram marketing so cool is the interaction you get to have with your customer base  What products are they buying and why? What are they doing on the weekend? What kind of posts do they love to share, and from what websites? You can also use social media as a tool for connecting with complementary, non-competing businesses.

4. Users are receptive to your messages:-People view Twitter and Facebook as social networks, not marketing machines,As a result, they’re less likely to see what you post as an advertisement and will be more likely to hear what you have to say. This translates to serious web traffic when you link to your site and posts that market themselves as your friends and followers share what you’ve posted.

5. Social media ads allow targeting and retargeting:-One of the reasons social media is important is because of the highly customizable nature of social media ads. Facebook ads, for example, allow you to target users by things like location, education level, industry and even purchase history and the pages they’ve liked. You also have to the option to install a Facebook pixel on your site and use it to retarget the users who visit you — these people are far more likely to convert into solid leads and sales.

7 types of sms marketing for text message to send your clients.

Appointment Reminders

If your business offers services to clients, it is likely that you have some type of appointment setup. Although appointments help you structure your schedule so that each client has sufficient time with your staff members, appointments also mean that you are left without business when clients don’t show up. Appointment reminders reduce the number of no-shows, especially if you use the right communication channels.

Text messages have a high open rate and are often opened within a few seconds of receipt. This makes them perfect for sharing appointment reminders. You can send your reminders within 24 hours of client appointments, reducing the chance that someone’s schedule will change or they will forget. You can also feel confident that your client will see your message. Text message appointment reminders can help you reduce your number of no-shows.

Helpful Tips

A good customer experience is a key component of your service business. Every interaction your business has with customers should help them in some way. Consider using your texting campaign to send out helpful tips that ultimately improve your customer service capabilities.

The content you share will differ depending on your type of business, but it might include information about your sales, service hours, appointment availability, and other aspects of your business. You can also simply send out helpful hints or tips. For example, salons may share beauty tips and mechanics may share auto maintenance tips.

Offers and deals

Offers and deals are often the first message type that businesses consider when developing a texting campaign. You definitely want to include them in your cache of message types, since 9 out of 10 mobile coupon users redeem their offers. Plus, offers are always a great way to boost business, since people are always looking for a deal.

Just be careful not to send out too many offers and deals. This may reduce the impact of your offers, since people will simply wait to use the next one, or the one after that. Find a balance between too many offers and not enough offers.

Event Information

Your texting campaign can be used as a way to send basic information to your clients, especially about any events you might be hosting or changes to your business. These might include:

  • Sales
  • Exclusive access
  • New staff members
  • Change in hours
  • Opening a new location
  • A fundraiser for a charity
  • A community event in which you are participating
  • Customer appreciation party
  • A holiday party or other event

Contests

You can also consider developing a text-to-win contest for your clients. Simply choose a short code or long code and some contest keywords. Your clients can then send a keyword to your short code or long code to sign up to win something. At the end of the run, you randomly select a winner. For added impact, give everyone some reward for signing up, such as a discount on services or a small free gift.

Polls and Surveys

Text messages are a two-way communication channel, and it is important that you take advantage of that with your texting campaign. This is where polls and surveys come into play. It is easy to run a texting poll. You simply need to send out a question and a list of potential answers. These are keywords that your clients text back to submit their vote. Then, you see which word had the greatest response.

You can use polls as a guide to make changes in your business, or you can simply engage with customers with a fun poll. For times where you need more in-depth answers, it is possible to send out a link to an online survey for your customers to fill out. Just make sure it is mobile friendly.

Customer Service

Let your customers text you with problems or questions to improve your customer service.

Another way to take advantage of the two-way communication component of texting is to use it as a way to handle customer service inquiries. Often, customers prefer to ask questions via text message because it’s convenient. Providing this communication option is a proactive way of creating a more positive experience for your customers. This increases the chance of a successful resolution of any issues.

Use these message types to create value for your clients. By doing this, you will create a program that improves the customer experience. Ready to get started? Sign up for free and try out one or more of these type of messages for your texting campaign.
